You will already have a sound background within an accounts team dealing with purchase and sales ledger and enjoy speaking to clients over the phone.
- Checking supplier statements and managing weekly creditor reports
- Inputting purchase invoices and credit notes onto the system
- Chasing supplier invoices
- Preparing and processing monthly payment runs
- Sending remittance advices to suppliers
- Management of weekly debtors' reports
- Sending customer statements and credit control
- Management of company credit cards and reconciliation
- Dealing with general queries from suppliers
- Ad hoc duties as required by the Manager
The right candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Proven background in sales and purchase ledger
- Exposure to credit control
- Strong administration skills
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise work effectively
- Ideally studying AAT or part qualified
