Purchase Ledger Clerk

Location: Shoreham By Sea

Hourly rate: £19k - £20k

Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5.30pm

Have you got purchase ledger experience and want to work in vibrant and friendly working environment?

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure creditors are paid according to terms
  • Processing invoices
  • Assisting with the payment run
  • Setting up supplier accounts
  • Handling any purchase enquiries
  • Ensure the accuracy of the purchase ledger
  • Assist in elements of sales ledger inclusive of invoicing
  • Ensure VAT compliance
  • Maintaining strong business relationships with suppliers
  • Ensure invoices/credits and expenses are correctly entered

The right candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Proven purchase ledger experience
  • Knowledge of Sage 200 with excellent Excel skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ideally AAT qualified
